In a unexpected partnership that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.

The mission concentrates on "strange trials and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
